
In the current context, there has been a resurgence of far-right political movements, which are represented by leaders, such as Donald Trump, Jair Bolsonaro, and Marine Le Pen, among others. This phenomenon, called neo-fascism, is characterized by the promotion of hate speech, the delegitimization of diversity, and the manipulation of information through social media and the press. Despite the apparent evolution of societies, capitalist ideology perpetuates inequalities and fosters exclusion, which facilitates the growth of these ultra-conservative currents. This article advocates for active resistance and the need to reinvent the left to counter this wave of authoritarianism and pursue a more equitable future.
